A breath of fresh air

NZ and I got a breath of fresh air from work, life and responsibilities this past weekend...And it couldn't have arrived at a better time. We spent the weekend in Northern California on what could quite possibly been the nicest June weekends, ever.

Having both lived in Davis for 8 plus years, we were prepared to melt. It's not unusual for the Sac area to top 100 degrees well into the evenings. Instead we arrived to what I will call HEAVEN. ( yes, I am still talking about Sacramento..and no, I'm not crazy..but the weather was heaven- like..promise....)

On top of the near perfect weather, we spent time with people we love, but see far too little. Thanks to Tim & Rebecca for getting hitched...which brought us together with a bunch of old friends to share in their special day.

Thanks to my pop & Mary for having NZ and I up to their house for a few days of quad riding and fishing, and living life in the slow lane..

Although it took an entire day of driving home, it was well worth it, and we'd do it all over again in a heartbeat, but alas, reality calls...

Time to head back to work.
